That’s the name of my new blog.  When you’re really bored,  can’t think of a thing to do besides wash windows,  check it out.  You can even leave a comment…. Being nice is required…

revisiting past art…

Some things from my collection of folk art.  The only piece that’s mine is the moon on the fridge.  The bottle cap mirror frame is a favorite.  It hangs out in the bathroom with some pigs.  Shane Campbell’s crows look really nice with my moon.  He does fun things.  later…

hmm…..

No new art to show you.  I think I’m at a stand still.  Can’t seem to get going.  Usually happens to me this time of year.  Not that I’m doing anything else.  Just kinda staring. 🙂   Then I take a nap,  two so far today.  Don’t I sound exciting?  I knew you’d be thrilled.

I’ve been cooking.  Love to cook, but haven’t been doing that much of it for the last year.  Trying to stay focused on my art, and produce.  I have this belief… you can’t spread your creativity around too much.  There will be nothing left for the important stuff.  It seems to work for me.

But then I watched that movie.  Julie & Julia.  Shoulda never done it.  You can not imagine how much watching that movie has cost so far.  So far… 2 new cook books…. enough groceries to feed a small army and most of their friends… twice.  The fridge is full, the pantry is bulging,  the freezer has no more room.  And… I’m obsessed.  Totally.

Since I’ve been reading blogs, there’s always someone sharing a recipe.  I always wanted to,  but thought I should stick to my art.  So I drive everyone I know crazy with sharing my latest recipe.  Well, now I’m going to put ’em on PJ’s Talking, and drive everyone else crazy.  I was going to get rid of that blog,  after I got this new place that I love.  But so far,  it hasn’t happened.  So now I have this idea of doing both.  My art here,  my food & lousy photography there.  We shall see how long this last. 🙂   All of this happening in my spare time, you know.  Oh, I forgot.  I want to do more tutorials,  and more how to crazy videos for You Tube.  All of this could mean I’m going to have to give up the naps…  and life as I have known it for the last week and a half…  keep those fingers crossed…  xx

Favorites, again…

The arm is huge, carved out of wood. Don’t
know the name of the artist.

This painting is by BB House of Comfort.
Amazes me what depth of field she can
get in a 3.5×3.5 tiny painting.

This is my very favorite.

An author/writer gave
this old typewriter of his to me.

He thought I was going to use it to make art.

It’s already art
sitting on my coffee table. Isn’t it wonderful.
I think I’ll put one of his articles in it,
like he just wrote it. I truly love this thing.
It’s my pride & joy!
